The framework scores 34 sub-indicators across five dimensions: Trajectory (20%), Environmental Reality (28%), Resilience and Systems (18%), Reach and Community (22%), and Accountability (12%). Each indicator draws from verified corporate disclosure data, cross-referenced with Earth5R's field verification network across 150+ Indian cities.

The CvR Gap (Claim vs. Reality) quantifies the divergence between narrative claims and quantitative evidence. It is calculated as: CvR = 1 minus (Quantitative Reality Score divided by Narrative Claim Strength Score). The AI reads each report in two passes, extracting quantitative disclosures and narrative claim intensity separately, then measuring the gap.

Thirteen anti-gaming checks prevent score manipulation through selective normalisation, blanket vulnerability claims, scope omission, and offset blending. Vulnerability Depth Index multipliers (ST 1.8x, SC 1.6x, women-led 1.4x, BPL 1.5x) ensure social impact scoring reflects the communities that matter most.

Global ESG raters measure disclosure quality. They miss what happens on the ground in India: district-level water stress that varies 10x within a single state, informal economy exposure that formal metrics cannot capture, Schedule VII CSR compliance that requires local verification, and BRSR reporting gaps that only field presence reveals.
